But you must also think of what happens after the circuit boards are manufactured. They go to PCB Assembly so that components can be assembled on to the boards.

Here are 12 helpful steps you can take as a PCB Designer to ensure your PCB assembly is easy and not put on hold.

Most electronics and PCB hobbyists these days can easily buy their custom PCBs online. For about $100 you can get 2 or 3 of your PCBs manufactured and delivered to you –all within 5 days. All you need to do is have good working PCB gerber files ready and a valid working credit card!
